Starseeds are beings whose spirits originated on another world. It has been theorized that when a planet is destroyed, the spirits who resided upon it move on to a new world with new lifetime challenges.[Citation Needed] In some cases a Starseed may have come from as far away as another galaxy or dimension, just coasting through time and space until they find a life that is suitable for them.
Unlike some races of Otherkin, Starseeds come in all shapes, sizes and species. That means there are likely very few Starseeds of the same race living at the same moment, and the odds of meeting two aliens from the same world are very slim.[Citation Needed]
