Hypothesis / Theory Discussion

This discussion is the hypothesis/theory page for Theory article. Please keep in mind the following when posting on this page:

All hypotheses should be proposed here before conducting research.
Each hypothesis should have a Hypothesis Info Box.
Once research has been performed on a hypothesis and may be considered a theory, the hypothesis box should be replaced with a Theory Info Box.
All research conducted on a hypothesis or theory should be placed on the associated topic's research page.
If you contribute productive information to a hypothesis or theory, you may add yourself to the "contributors" list within the corresponding info box.
